2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

2.2 Housing Platform Data

When using our housing features, we collect:

• Housing preferences and requirements

2.3 Jobs & Career Portal Data

When using our Jobs platform, we collect and process:

• Resume Data: Uploaded resumes (PDF/DOCX), parsed resume content, work experience, education, and skills
• AI-Enhanced Content: AI-generated professional summaries, enhanced bullet points, and ATS-optimized resumes
• Job Search Activity: Search queries, filters, saved jobs, job views, apply clicks, application history, job recommendations, and job fit scores
• Job Preferences: Preferred locations, job types, work types, salary ranges, skills, and industries stored for personalized recommendations
• Visa Information: Visa status, work authorization preferences, and sponsorship requirements (used for visa sponsorship scoring)
• Usage Data: Feature usage tracking, weekly allowance consumption, and subscription tier information
• Recruiter Data: Recruiter contact lookups, email unlocks, and outreach email generation history

2.4 AI Chat Assistant Data

When using our AI Chat Assistant, we collect and process:

• Chat Messages: Text messages you send to and receive from the AI assistant are stored in our database as part of your chat thread for conversation continuity and to provide your chat history. Messages are processed by third-party AI providers (including Google and Anthropic) to generate responses.
• Chat Metadata: We log session metadata including message count, usage consumption, timestamps, and tool interactions for service delivery and monitoring.
• Tool Interactions: When the assistant searches jobs, checks your usage, or performs actions on your behalf, those actions and results are logged as part of your chat thread.

2.5 Voice AI Data

When using our Voice AI features (Mock Interview, Career Coach), we collect and process:

• Audio Data: Your microphone audio is streamed in real-time to our voice processing provider (Deepgram) for speech-to-text transcription. Audio is processed in real-time and is not stored or retained by Student Succeed LLC or Deepgram after transcription.
• Session Metadata: Duration, turn count, usage consumption, and performance scores are retained as part of your session history.
• Scorecards: AI-generated interview scorecards including scores, strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations are stored in our database and accessible from your account.
• Conversation Transcripts: Text transcripts of your conversation with the AI interviewer (both your responses and AI questions) are stored in our database as part of your session record. These transcripts are used to generate your scorecard and are accessible from your account history.
• Feedback: Post-session ratings and feedback you provide are stored to help us improve the interview experience.

2.6 Data Use for Service Improvement

We may use anonymized and aggregated data from voice sessions and feature usage to improve our AI interview models and overall service quality. Anonymization means your name, email, and other personally identifiable information are removed before any data is used for model improvement. We do not sell your personal data or session content to third parties. We do not share your identifiable session transcripts with third-party AI providers for their model training.

2.6 AI Processing Data

Our AI-powered features process your data to provide:

• Resume parsing and content extraction
• ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility scoring
• Professional content enhancement and optimization
• Visa sponsorship probability scoring based on employer data
• Job fit scoring and skills matching
• AI-generated cover letters and professional summaries
• AI mock interview scoring and feedback
• Career coaching advice personalized to your profile

2.7 Automatically Collected Information

When you use our Service, we may automatically collect:

• Device information (IP address, browser type, operating system)

• Unsubscribe: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email. Transactional emails required for account operation cannot be unsubscribed.

4.1 With Landlords and Property Managers

When you apply for housing, we share relevant information with landlords to facilitate the application process.

4.2 With AI Service Providers

We use AI providers to power our resume enhancement, job matching, and career optimization features. These providers include:

• OpenRouter — AI model routing service that processes resume parsing, content enhancement, and job matching requests. Privacy Policy

• Anthropic (Claude) — AI processing for content enhancement and analysis. Privacy Policy
• Deepgram — Voice AI agent and real-time speech-to-text/text-to-speech processing for Voice AI features (Mock Interview, Career Coach, Visa Advisor). Powers the conversational voice agent, transcription, and audio synthesis. Audio is processed in real-time and not retained. Privacy Policy

Data shared with AI providers is used solely for generating responses and is not used to train their models. Audio data sent to Deepgram is processed in real-time for transcription only and is not stored or used for model training. All AI processing is subject to their respective privacy policies and our data processing agreements.

4.3 With Third-Party Service Providers

We may share information with service providers who help us operate our platform, including:

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for 3 years after account deletion
• Resume Data: Retained while your account is active; deleted upon request
• Chat Messages: Stored in our database while your account is active; deleted upon account deletion or request
• Voice Audio: Not retained. Processed in real-time by Deepgram and discarded immediately after transcription
• Interview Transcripts: Stored in our database while your account is active. Anonymized versions may be retained for AI improvement after account deletion
• Interview Scorecards: Stored in our database while your account is active for your review
• AI Usage Logs: Retained for 90 days for service monitoring (metadata and usage patterns)
• Billing Transactions: Retained for 7 years for financial record-keeping

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
